The casino chose the American Dynamics victor Video Management System, an IP, fully-integrated solution, which provided highly accurate camera positioning, high-resolution imaging, and a fast, intuitive video review process.
Outcomes
The Tyco solution enabled the casino’s surveillance staff to drastically decrease video search time, permitting the team to spend more time on active surveillance. The system also allowed them to edit, clip, and export video in a matter of seconds.

Fond-du-Luth Casino Chooses Tyco to Improve and Overhaul Its Surveillance System
Fond-du-Luth Casino, one of 18 gaming facilities in the state of Minnesota, has two gaming floors holding 700 slot machines and operates 24 hours a day.
A renovation project launched in 2015 included a complete overhaul of the casino and its video surveillance and access control systems—without impacting normal functioning.
The casino required a new surveillance command center that could fit within a small location and had a video wall that surveillance operators could use to monitor multiple cameras simultaneously.
Fond-du-Luth Casino required a revamp of its surveillance and security system to include high-resolution IP cameras and video recorders that could cover the entire gaming area. In addition, the system needed to allow surveillance staff to proactively monitor live feeds instead of spending time on reviewing recorded videos.
