Though the hotel has experienced minimal vandalism and theft, the owner of the Best Western Plus Clocktower Inn in Billings, Montana, sought to enhance security in its parking lot and common areas in a way that was unobtrusive and discrete.

Solutions

The hotel owner turned to system integration specialists, TCT, for assistance in deploying its first video surveillance system. Together, they developed a long-term plan for installing up to 40 surveillance cameras around the inn’s premises over an 18-month period.

The Clocktower Inn’s owner wanted to add video surveillance coverage across the property to include its pool deck, the lobby and office areas, and the street outside the inn.

In addition to improving the inn’s overall security, the video surveillance system would help increase the safety of the hotel’s security staff that patrols both buildings at night to handle any emergencies and other unexpected incidents.
